Qoros 3 Hatch introduced, to be shown at Geneva Motor Show
Chinese automaker Qoros plans to show off its second production model in March at the Geneva Motor Show. The 3 Hatch will essentially be a hatchback version of the 3 Sedan which will adopt mostly the same design but with an overall length reduced by 177mm to 4438mm as a result of the shortened rear overhang. Since the wheelbase will remain intact, expect the same interior cabin space where as standard the car will come with an 8-inch touchscreen display for the infotainment system.
Qoros says that under the hood the vehicle will have a four-cylinder, 1.6-liter gasoline engine which will be available in a naturally-aspirated version as well as with turbocharging. The motor will come linked to either a six-speed manual transmission or a dual-clutch automatic gearbox.
Production of the Qoros 3 Hatch will take place in the same location where they make the sedan which is at Changshu in China.
