Red Bull explains Formula 1 changes for 2014 season

Red Bull has published online an awesome video in which they showcase the most significant changes in this year’s Formula 1 season which will start this weekend in Australia. The team’s drivers Sebastian Vettel and Daniel Ricciardo point out some of the modifications, such as the switch to a smaller V6 1.6-liter turbocharged engine and a new eight-speed gearbox. In addition, the F1 cars now boast two generator units forming the ERS – energy recuperation system, while the capacity of the fuel tank has gone down by 30 percent to 140 liters. Gone are the beam wing and exhaust blown diffuser, while the front wing is narrower and lower.
