Renault UK has launched a range-topping Signature trim for the Captur crossover which can be had from £17,495. The vehicle can be distinguished by 17-inch Explore rims, two-tone exterior body paint and chrome accents on the fog lights, front grille, boot lid and side strips. There’s also part leather upholstery inside the cabin where Renault has included the R-Link infotainment system packing a seven-inch touchscreen display which offers satellite navigation, USB & Bluetooth support, along with a rearview camera that works with the rear-mounted parking sensors. Also inside is a Red Touch Pack with red accents on the center console, speakers and air vents.
The Renault Captur Signature comes equipped with a 4 x 35-watt Arkamys sound system and benefits from the Grip Xtend advanced traction control system. Also on the long list of standard equipment is the automatic climate control, tinted rear windows, electric folding mirrors and LED daytime running lights.
Power is provided by a 0.9-liter TCe three-cylinder gasoline engine with 90 HP or a more powerful and bigger 1.2-liter TCe producing 120 HP. The Captur Signature can also be had with a more economical 1.5-liter dCi rated at 90 HP. Depending on engine selection, Renault is offering a five-speed manual gearbox and a dual-clutch six-speed EDC.
Prices start at £17,495 while the most expensive model within the Captur Signature range costs £19,895.
