French automaker Renault has unveiled the Megane 275 Trophy which will be offered as a limited edition model powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine delivering 275 PS and a maximum torque of 360 Nm. It’s 10 PS more powerful than its predecessor and the additional output was obtained after installing an Akrapovic titanium exhaust system which has lowered the car’s weight a bit and is also capable of providing a more impressive exhaust sound. The vehicle is nicely equipped with a Cup chassis with a limited slip differential and for more money clients can get adjustable Öhlins Road & Track dampers with steel springs.
At an additional cost, the Megane 275 Trophy can be configured with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires that were designed specifically for this model. It wears a yellow livery and can be had with optional Speedline Turini 19-inch alloy wheels. The interior cabin features Recaro bucket seats wrapped around in a combination of leather and Alcantara with red stitching.
