Renault reveals full details about Clio RS 200
French automaker Renault has revealed that the new Clio RS 200 will available in its home market at a starting price of 24,990 euros. The hot hatchback is scheduled to arrive at dealers next month and will feature 18-inch Dark Metal alloy wheels, LED daytime running lights and a sport-tuned suspension. It has also been equipped with a bespoke front fascia, a dual exhaust system and gloss black accents.
Clients with deeper pockets can get the optional Cup Package which brings 18-inch rims featuring a glossy black look, along with red brake calipers and most importantly, a “Cup” chassis.
The interior cabin of the 2013 Renault Clio RS 200 is nicely equipped with alloy pedals, two-tone fabric seats and a sport steering wheel. On the options list we find a Media Nav infotainment system, heated front seats and leather upholstery.
Under the hood is a 4-cylinder, 1.6-liter turbocharged engine delivering 200 HP (147 kW) and 177 lb-ft (240 Nm) of torque. Power is sent to wheels through a 6-speed EDC gearbox which allows the vehicle to return 37.3 mpg US (6.3 liters / 100 km or 44.8 mpg UK) with CO2 emissions standing at 144 g/km.
