Renault Kadjar goes official ahead of Geneva debut

The Renault Kadjar has made its online debut this week and will be showcased in public for the first time next month at the Geneva Motor Show. The stylish compact crossover sits above the Captur from where it has borrowed many design cues while the styling also resembles the DeZir concept. The taillights look a bit like the ones on the Clio while up front there are optional LED headlights. 19-inch alloy wheels and additional underbody protection are on offer wile inside the cabin there the R-Link 2 multimedia system and high quality materials to enhance the model’s appeal.

The Renault Kadjar uses the same CMF platform as the Nissan Qashqai and it will be offered with both 2WD and 4WD configurations, with power coming from an array of “particularly efficient” motors. The model is scheduled to go on sale in the second half of the year and will be produced in Spain at Renault’s Palencia factory.


The vehicle is 4.45 meters long, 1.84 meters wide and 1.60 meters tall while the ground clearance stands at 190mm. It will be offered at an additional cost with a 1.4-square meter fixed glass sunroof as well as other optional goodies.
