Rocket-powered bicycle hits 163 mph
This is one of those videos that you first have to see before believing what the article says. Meet Francois Gissy, a Frenchman who wanted to go extremely fast on a bicycle. How fast? He was able to hit a top speed of no less than 163.4 mph (263 km/h) with his bicycle. However, it’s far from being an ordinary bicycle as the one used for the attempt was rocket-powered, with hydrogen peroxide-fueled rockets.
Some people are afraid to drive a car at those speeds, let alone jump on a bicycle which doesn’t offer any kind of protection in case of an accident.
