There is a new tuning program around the block for the BMW M3. It has been developed by RS-Racingteam and is aimed at delivering “more adrenaline for your senses”. We are dealing with a track-focused M3 which comes with a new rear spoiler, adjustable sports suspension and 19-inch alloys. On the outside it doesn’t seem to have many changes but we do notice significant modification in the cabin where there aren’t any rear seats, door pads or carpeting. Instead, it packs carbon fibbed door panels, a roll cage and sports seats featuring 6-point harnesses. After the modifications were made, the BMW M3 lost 419 lbs (190 kg) in comparison to the standard variant.
At its heart is the same V8 4.0-liter engine that has been revised and it now puts out 450 HP (331 kW) and 318 lb-ft (431 Nm) of torque. After the modifications were made, the tuned BMW M3 was able to complete the 0-100 km/h run in 4.6 seconds, while the 0-200 km/h sprint takes 14.7 seconds. It is able to hit a top speed of 299 km/h (186 mph).
The starting price of BMW M3 tuned by RS Racing is 80,000 euros or $106,760.
