McLaren MP4-12C Spider by FAB Design

The McLaren MP4-12C Spider has received a tuning program from FAB Design. Known as the 12C Spider Terso, this particular orange-painted car made its first public appearance at the beginning of the year during the 2013 Tokyo Auto Salon. The aero body kit comes with a redesigned front skirt with beefier air intakes, a splitter below the front windscreen, along with updated side skirts, reshaped side air intakes, an updated rear bumper and a revised diffuser. In addition, the tuner has also installed a new spoiler at the back which goes over the top of the car’s stock spoiler. If this sounds familiar you should know that it’s the same body kit applied for the coupe.

The McLaren MP4-12C Spider Terso by FAB Design has been equipped with three-part forged FAB-Design Evolution 20-inch wheels wrapped around in SP SportMaxx tires provided by Dunlop. Other than that, the orange convertible boasts a three-chamber carbon tail pipe and a FAB Design proprietary stainless steel sports exhaust system. Thanks to the latter, the car’s output has been increased to 680 hp and 715 Nm.

The convertible is capable of completing the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) run in only three seconds and will continue accelerating until it reaches a top speed of 213 mph (343 km/h). FAB Design has mentioned they will only make 10 units of the MP4-12C Spider Terso.
