MKB tunes the Mercedes-Benz CLS 63 AMG

MKB is a German tuner and their latest project is based on the most recent version of the Mercedes-Benz CLS 63 AMG. They tricked out the version fitted with the optional AMG Performance Package which in its standard form offers 557 HP (410 kW) and 590 lb-ft (800 Nm) from the 5.5-liter, bi-turbo engine. After serious tweaks, they were able to bump the engine’s output to an impressive 700 HP (515 kW) and a maximum torque of no less than 737 lb-ft (1,000 Nm). Thanks to these upgrades, the CLS 63 AMG can perform the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) run in 4.1 seconds which makes it 0.2 seconds faster than the regular CLS 63 AMG Performance Package model.

The good news don’t end here as thanks to the power increase, the four-door coupe is now able to reach a top speed of 186 mph (300 km/h), considerably more than the standard 155 mph (250 km/h). It is important to mention that this new top speed is electronically limited but customers can ask MKB to remove the limiter and install special tires which will allow the CLS 63 AMG to reach a top speed of more than 211 mph (340 km/h).
