BMW X4 by Lightweight gains more power

Lightweight has released a comprehensive upgrade program tailored to the BMW X4. The model selected for this task is an xDrive35d which now wears a frozen gray wrap applied on the entire body to imitate the special hue available through BMW Individual’s catalog. Some of the bits and pieces such as front spoiler, mirror caps, rear apron and spoiler have been manufactured from carbon fiber and there’s also a set of 21-inch wheels shod in Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires measuring 245/35 in the front and 265/30 at the back. They also lowered the X4’s ride height by 40mm after installing a spring kit from Bilstein.

As far as the 3.0-liter 6-cylinder turbodiesel engine is concerned, its output has been bumped from the series 313 PS and 630 Nm to a massive 365 PS and 690 Nm of torque, but for those who are hard to please, Lightweight has a stronger kit which lifts power to 375 PS and 700 Nm. With the more powerful kit installed, the BMW X4 will be able to reach a top speed of 280 km/h (174 mph).

Priced at €88,000, this particular car has a black Alcantara upholstery featuring double contrast stitching, velour floor mats (with the tuner’s logo), along with aluminum pedals and a special auxiliary display mounted within the central-left air vent which has been removed.
