Seat announces 2013 Ibiza SC Trophy
Spanish automaker Seat has announced a revision for the Ibiza SC Trophy.
Under the hood it retains the same turbo 1.4-liter TSI gasoline engine but its output has been increased from the previous 180 HP (132 kW) to the current 200 HP (147 kW).
This power unit is connected to a 7-speed DSG transmission which is operated by the driver from the steering wheel. The car also features a mechanical differential lock.
Other than that, the 2013 Seat Ibiza SC Trophy has remained virtually unchanged in comparison to its predecessor so it still rides on 18-inch racing alloy wheels and has a custom oil sump. The braking system is also upgraded compared to the standard model, while the interior cabin has been completely stripped to lower curb weight. For safety purposes, a roll cage has been added.
