Seat Leon X-Perience announced
Seat has prepared the Leon X-Perience which compared to the regular ST version upon which is based comes with a 15mm increased ride height. It also looks more rugged thanks to the plastic body cladding together with aluminum underbody protection at the front and rear. Other noticeable changes include the black anodized roof rails, bigger door sills and fresh 17- or 18-inch alloy wheel designs. Inside it gets a combination of brown leather and Alcantara upholstery with orange stitching. The trunk’s 587 liter capacity has remained the same and can be expanded to 1,470 liters if you fold down the rear seats.
In terms of motivation, the Seat Leon X-Perience is available with a 1.8 TSI engine rated at 180 PS and 280 Nm but can also be had with a more economical 1.6 TDI with 110 PS and 250 Nm. Seat is also offering two versions of the 2.0 TDI with 150 PS & 320 Nm and 184 PS & 380 Nm. Regardless of the engine choice, the car comes with a permanent all-wheel drive system featuring fifth-gen Haldex coupling and mated to either a 6-speed manual or an optional DSG transmission.
