SEAT Alhambra gets a modest facelift

The SEAT Alhambra has been given a mild makeover which comes with a number of enhancements. It’s based on the facelifted Volkswagen Sharan and has received new graphics for the LED taillights as well as fresh body paints and alloy wheel designs while the brand logo set is also different. On the inside it benefits from a slightly modified steering wheel, updated buttons & knobs and the possibility to choose from new trims. The infotainment system with its 6.3-inch touchscreen display has been brought up to date and has support for MirrorLink and SEAT Full Link so it can be paired to an Android- or iOS-running smartphone.

A series of tweaks have been implemented underneath the hood where the facelifted SEAT Alhambra now has Euro 6 engines which are up to 15% more fuel efficient. You can have it with a 1.4 TSI rated at 150 PS or a larger 2.0 TSI pushing out 220 PS while more economical solutions would have to be the 1.6 TDI with 115 PS  and a 2.0 TDI available with 150 PS and 184 PS.

A six-speed manual gearbox is standard, but an optional DSG will be offered for all engines except for the 1.6 TDI while the 2.0 TSI gets it as standard. Go for the 2.0 TDI engine with 150 PS and you will be able to order an all-wheel drive setup.
