Czech automaker Skoda has released a teaser photo with the third generation of the Octavia RS which will be shown to the public for the first time on July 11 at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed. They didn’t say what will power the hot sedan but we expect to see a 4-cylinder, 2.0-liter TFSI gasoline mill outputting approximately 220 hp (164 kW) and a peak torque of 350 Nm (258 lb-ft). Recent reports have indicated that there might be a second version of the model offering as much as 250 hp (186 kW). It is unknown for the moment whether this will be the only variant or Skoda will offer two states of power for the 2013 Octavia RS.

In terms of design, we already got a clear idea of how it will look based on several leaked photos from the online configurator which should little differences in comparison to the standard model. Some of the most important modifications will include a new front bumper, tinted headlights, LED fog lights, trunk-mounted spoiler, a dual exhaust system, as well as gloss black accents.
