The Smart ForTwo Cabrio edition MOSCOT has made its online debut and is now heading to the Geneva Motor Show. Only 100 units will be made and as you can see this latest special edition is based on the outgoing ForTwo Cabrio and was developed in collaboration with luxury eyewear company MOSCOT. The cars can be visually distinguished by their glossy black body panels and a matte yellow tridion safety cell while the Monobloc VII alloy wheels provided by Brabus have a glossy black finish combined with a yellow ring on the rim flange. The cars also get titanium-look headlights and a Brabus front spoiler lip.
Stepping inside the cabin, there’s a black and yellow look with black leather on the instrument cluster, knee pad, door paneling & pockets and seats along with yellow leather on the knee pad and seat sides. Bespoke “edition MOSCOT” floor mats with nubuck leather trim have also been added along with yellow rings on the shift lever knob and ancillary dashboard instruments while top stitching has been applied onto the three-spoke steering wheel covered in leather.
Motivation of the Smart ForTwo Cabrio edition MOSCOT is provided by a 1.0-liter 3-cylinder turbocharger gasoline engine developing 102 HP (75 kW) and coupled to a 5-speed manual transmission. The car also gets a sports suspension which lowers the ride height by 10mm.
It’s already available on order in Germany where the pricing starts at €29,524 while deliveries are programmed to begin in the summer.
