Smart has introduced a GrandStyle Edition of the aging ForTwo which will be available exclusively in United Kingdom. This special edition is actually based on the ForTwo Passion variant but has gained what the company describes as being a “cool and sophisticated” exterior thanks to titanium headlight surrounds, LED daytime running lights and 15-inch alloy wheels painted in black. On the inside it has gained a leather-covered steering wheel together with Artico black upholstery. The cabin also sports a Navigation Highline infotainment system encompassing a 6.5-inch screen.
Those who purchase the Smart ForTwo GrandStyle Edition will also get to enjoy the air conditioning system while at an additional cost there’s a Comfort Package with electrically-adjustable mirrors and heated seats.
In terms of power, the city car can get a 3-cylinder 1.0-liter naturally aspirated engine delivering 71 bhp or a turbocharged version of the same engine generating 84 bhp. The ForTwo GrandStyle Edition can be had either as a coupe or a convertible and has a starting price of 10,330 pounds.
