Spyker reveals B6 Venator Spyder Concept

About a week ago we saw a teaser of the B6 Venator Spyder Concept and now Spyder has revealed the car in full at Pebble Beach. The very attractive convertible rides on Turbofan-style alloys and benefits from a carbon fiber body sitting on top of an aluminum platform. It has also been equipped with leather-wrapped fairings, LED headlights and premium leather upholstery. We also noticed the rather elegant turned aluminum trim and Spyker’s traditional exposed gear change mechanism. There’s also an aircraft-inspired instrumentation, infotainment system and a three-spoke steering wheel.

Power of the Spyker B6 Venator Spyder Concept is provided by a V6 rear-mid mounted engine that churns 375 bhp (279 kW) mated to a 6-speed automatic gearbox sending those ponies to the rear wheels.

The automaker production is scheduled to commence towards the end of 2014 and at first will be available in Europe, India, Asia Pacific and Middle East. United States will get the car in early 2015 with pricing expected to kick off at around $150,000 which is fairly expensive if you ask us.
