Subaru will be previewing the next generation of the Legacy mid-size sedan next week at the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show with this interesting concept which adopts a four-door silhouette. The vehicle has received C-shaped headlights and taillights and doesn’t seem to have conventional door handles. In addition, it lacks an exhaust which probably means we are dealing with an electric vehicle. Subaru says the concept comes with a specially made Ocean Silver Metallic paint which consists of a light blue metallic silver mixed with a metallic sheen. Other design highlights include the muscular wheel arches and a sloping roofline.
As far as physical dimensions are concerned, the Legacy concept is 4930mm long, 1940mm wide and 150mm tall, while its wheelbase stands at 2880mm. The vehicle sits on massive 21-inch alloy wheels wrapped around in 265/40 ZR21 tires. The interior cabin has a three-spoke sporty steering wheel and a brown leather upholstery featuring blue accents.
In the center of the instrument panel there is a multi-function screen which can be controlled via a tablet or a smartphone. Subaru has installed an angled shifter to ensure a sportier feel while behind the wheel.
