Toyota UK is adding a Verso Trend Plus model priced from £24,650 and equipped with a generous amount of goodies. It has received a rear-seat DVD entertainment system with two monitors inserted in the seatbacks of the front seats and available with two wireless headsets while at an additional cost you can also get two iPad holders. Other items offered as standard include the Toyota Touch 2 infotainment system featuring satellite navigation, Bluetooth, DAB radio and support for online services. This version also has front fog lamps, power windows, seven airbags, dual zone climate control system, rear privacy glass, front parking sensors and new 17-inch alloys.
Aside from this Verso Trend Plus, Toyota has made a few other changes for the 2015 model year, such as fresh 16-inch wheels on the Icon version that can feature a Tidal Blue paint. As standard, all Verso models have a space-saver spare wheel, except for the ones that feature a panoramic sunroof.
The 2015 Toyota Verso Trend Plus and the other models are powered by a 1.6-liter Valvematic engine with 132 bhp or a larger 1.8-liter Valvematic producing 147 bhp. The sole diesel engine is a 1.6-liter D-4D with 112 bhp. Toyota is offering a 6-speed manual transmission for the 1.6-liter engine and a CVT for the 1.8 motor.
