Vauxhall introduces 2013 VXR8 GTS

Vauxhall has unveiled today the new generation of the VXR8 GTS which is the British derivative of the HSV GEN-F GTS launched a while ago in Australia. It borrows the familiar V8 LSA supercharged engine which churns 576 bhp (429 kW) and 738 Nm (545 lb-ft) of peak torque. If we were to compare it to its predecessor, the new model is 150 bhp (112 kW) and 189 Nm (140 lb-ft) more powerful. This latest model can be had with either the standard 6-speed manual transmission or with an optional 6-speed automatic gearbox. Unfortunately, the British marque didn’t release any information regarding the car’s performance specifications.
