Video – Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio filmed in Barcelona
A pre-production unit of the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio has been caught on camera in Barcelona, Spain. This white example was participating at an ad shooting together with a red Giulia Q ahead of the model’s market launch programmed for the end of this year, following a public debut next month at the Frankfurt Motor Show. As you can easily notice, the ground clearance of the hot sedan seems to be minimal so it will be a bit difficult to drive the car on bumpy roads as you will risk damaging the front and rear bumpers and obviously replacements won’t come cheap with a car like this.
Its heart and soul is a Ferrari-derived 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 engine pushing out 510 PS which enables the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio to run the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint in as little as 3.9 seconds before topping out at an impressive 200 mph (321 km/h). It weighs around 1,500 kg and has a perfect 50:50 weight distribution and it’s going to be offered in both rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive configurations, with pricing to be disclosed closer to the model’s launch.
Also at Frankfurt Motor Show next month, Alfa Romeo will bring the lesser versions of the Giulia which will be available together with the range-topping Quadrifoglio model seen here.
