Volkswagen has disclosed plans to sell the Amarok Ultimate in United Kingdom where only 500 units will be commercialized. It sits on top of the model’s range and comes as standard with a generous list of equipment including chrome accents, bi-xenon headlights, 19-inch alloys, along with LED daytime running lights and tinted taillights. It can also be distinguished by the “Ultimate” badging while inside the cabin it comes with heated front seats, GPS navigation, rearview camera, Alcantara seats, leather steering wheel and alloy pedals for the automatic variant.
Motivation for the Volkswagen Amarok Ultimate (UK-spec) is provided exclusively by a four-cylinder BiTDI 2.0-liter engine generating 180 HP (132 kW) and 309 lb-ft (420 Nm) of torque sent to a standard 4MOTION all-wheel drive system through either a six-speed manual or the optional eight-speed automatic gearbox.
Already on sale, the Amarok Ultimate carries a starting price of £29,555, without taking into account value added tax.
