Volkswagen is proud to announce the 2014MY Passat Sport for the U.S. market which will come with Luxor-style 19-inch rims, a rear spoiler and revised fog lights. Customers will have the possibility of ordering the cars in three different exterior paint schemes: Urano Gray (exclusive for this model), Tungsten Silver and Candy White. Inside it has a faux carbon fiber trim, sport seats, alloy pedals, a leather-covered steering wheel, stainless steel door plates, bespoke floor mats and heated front seats.
Power will be provided exclusively by a 4-cylinder 1.8-liter TSI turbocharged gasoline engine outputting 170 bhp and a maximum torque of 184 lb-ft. The power unit can be mated to either a five-speed manual gearbox or a six-speed automatic transmission.
Scheduled to reach dealerships at the beginning of this year, the 2014 Volkswagen Passat Sport has a starting price of $27,295 if we take into calculation the destination and handling charges which are worth $820.
