Volkswagen prepares Transporter Sportline 60 limited edition for UK

Volkswagen’s UK division is proud to announce the Transporter Sportline 60 special edition which celebrates the Transporter’s 60th year on sale in United Kingdom. It can be had with either a short or a long wheelbase in panel van or Kombi guises, with all of them featuring bespoke 18-inch 5-spoke rims that have a lovely anthracite look. Other cosmetic changes include black steel side bars, glossy black exterior mirrors, front & rear parking sensors as well as special decals. Other goodies included are electric windows, climate control system, ABS, electronically adjustable & heated mirrors and remote central locking.
On the inside there’s a Kenwood sat-nav system with DAB, Bluetooth and smartphone mirroring support, along with stereo with CD player and quilted & embossed leather upholstery. Body paint choices include Deep Black, Reflex Silver or Candy White with Deep Black roof.
Motivation is provided by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder BiTDI engine rated at 180 PS (132 kW) and 295 lb-ft (400 Nm) working together with either a standard six-speed manual or a seven-speed DSG.
The most affordable model money can buy is the short wheelbase variant equipped with a six-speed manual priced at 29,940 pounds while the most expensive is the long wheelbase seven-speed DSG at 34,170 pounds. It should be mentioned these prices do not take into account value added tax.
