Volvo has revealed today an inflatable child seat concept which we will probably find at stores sometime in the future. The main idea behind this rear-facing child seat is that it can be easily inflated in less than 40 seconds thanks to the integrated pump system. We should also mention the seat tips the scales at less than 5 kg so it has roughly half the weight of a regular child seat. It also has built-in Bluetooth connectivity which allows parents to remotely inflate the seat. It measures 45x50x20 cm so it should be very easy to carry from one place to the other.
