Weber F1 production model launched

Weber has announced the F1 (FasterOne) will be entering production phase next month and pricing will be available upon request. At its heart is a V10 5.6-liter twin-turbo engine unleashing 1,200 HP (883 kW) and 922 lb-ft (1,250 Nm) of torque. It tips the scales at 2,756 lbs (1,250 kg) and has the following dimensions: 4,500 mm long, 2,040 mm wide and 1,150 mm tall. The engine is mated to a six-speed sequential transmission sending the entire horsepower to an all-wheel drive system. The wheelbase spans at 2,900 mm, while the track widths stand at 1,625 mm front / 1,606 mm rear. It sits on 20-inch alloys covered by high-performance tires from Pirelli.

The supercar is able to perform the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint in 2.5 seconds, while 0-124 mph (0-200 km/h) takes 6.6 seconds. From 0 to 186 mph (300 km/h) it needs 16.2 seconds, on its way to a top speed of more than 248 mph (400 km/h). It benefits from 12-piston aluminum calipers with 380 x 34 mm vented ceramic discs for all four wheels. The carbon fiber chassis weighs 143 lbs (65 kg), while an active AWD system and automatic launch control are included.
