Wiesmann GT MF4-CS unleashed in Geneva

Wiesmann has reached its 25th anniversary and for this occasion they have launched a new model called GT MF4-CS which will be limited to just 25 units. The German specialty marque has equipped this model with a powerful V8 engine pumping out 420 HP (309 kW) which is enough for a 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) run in only 4.4 seconds, en route to a top speed of 182 mph (293 km/h).

The sports car tips the scales at 2,976 lbs (1,350 kg) and as a result offers a power-to-weight ratio of 3.2 kg / hp. Those who want this model should prepare their bank accounts as the car has a steep starting price of no less than 193,193.28 euros.

The Wiesmann GT MF4-CS features a beefy front splitter, muscular wheel arches, anti-roll bar, daytime running lights and a rear wing manufactured from carbon fiber. It also has a carbon roof, sports brakes and a fully adjustable chassis. Compared to the GT MF4-S the CS version is 44 lbs (20 kg) lighter since it lacks door handles and comes with lightweight polycarbonate windows and sports bucket seats.

Wiesmann can shave off additional weight by removing the air conditioning system and the audio system. At an additional cost, the car can be configured with a carbon fiber interior cabin pack, while the optional track pack adds Michelin Cup tires, four-point harness and sport brake pads.
