Zenos E10 unleashed at 2014 Autosport International

It was about three weeks ago when Zeno Cars announced the firm’s first production model, the Zenos E10, would make it public debut at the 2014 Autosport International in Birmingham, UK. That day has arrived and the company founded by former Caterham chief Ansar Ali has taken the wraps of its open-top, two-seater which weighs only 650 kg thanks to its carbon tub and aluminum construction. At its heart is a Ford-derived 2.0-liter mid-mounted engine delivering 200 bhp sent to the rear wheels via a 5-speed manual gearbox or an optional 6-speed manual.

The 2014 Zenos E10 will complete the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) task in less than five seconds before hitting a maximum speed estimated at 135 mph (217 km/h). For more money customers will have the possibility of configuring their car with a limited slip differential which should make the E10 an even more appealing track toy.

Pricing kicks off at 24,995 pounds and the car will go on sale in the following months.
