There is a brand new sports car around town and it’s called the DC50. It has been developed by Bluebird Performance Engineering and will be showcased in United Kingdom at the Sustainable MotoExpo where it will sit alongside the GTL Formula E race car. The DC50 has been envisioned as a limited-run sports car developed to celebrate five decades since Donald Campbell set both land and water speed records. The car will be sold only with a Bluebird paint scheme and will be available as a coupe featuring a glass canopy, as well as electrically-operated scissor doors.
Although full specifications of the 2014 Bluebird DC50 have not been released, they did say the powertrain is capable of generating up to 360 bhp (268 kW). Depending on specification, it will have a range of up to 322 km (200 miles), while the acceleration is said to match a Porsche model.
