You are looking at the all-new Honda Fit (aka Jazz in some markets) which is scheduled to go on sale before the end of the year. The design of the car won’t win any beauty awards as the back is simply too complex, while the front is too muscular and aggressive for such a small car. The interior cabin is typical Honda business so it won’t impress you in terms of quality or layout.
Seen in this photo gallery is the entire 2014 Fit range which includes the standard model, the RS version and the more frugal hybrid variant which appears to be the most interesting of the trio.
Honda released details only about the hybrid model which is motivated by a newly developed Atkinson-cycle 1.5-liter, four-cylinder engine which works in tandem with an electric motor, a high-capacity lithium-ion battery and a dual-clutch 7-speed gearbox. The Japanese company says the car will return 36.4 km/l which means it will do 85.6 mpg US (102.8 mpg UK or just 2.7 liters / 100 km). It can be driven only on electric power, as a hybrid or exclusively with the gasoline engine.
