The 2015 Mercedes-Benz G-Class has made its online debut and welcomes a series of updates. For starters, the G500 is now equipped with a V8 bi-turbo 4.0-liter engine developing 422 PS and 610 Nm of torque which is enough power to allow a 0-100 km/h sprint in 5.9 seconds. A more frugal version is the G350d which now produces 245 PS and 600 Nm whereas the previous version had 211 PS and 540 Nm. After the power hike is implemented, the off-roader will run the sprint in a more than decent 8.9 seconds.
There’s also a 27 PS power hike for the G63 AMG which now delivers 571 PS whereas the G65 AMG has gained 28 PS so it now develops 630 PS. Opt for the G350d or G500 and you also get reworked front & rear bumpers, AMG flared wheel arches (body-colored) while the G350d benefits from 5-spoke 18-inch lightweight alloys.
Last but not least, the 2015 Mercedes-Benz G-Class will be available in an AMG EDITION 463 variant with two-tone instrument panel, two-tone leather upholstery, stainless steel underguard and 21-inch forged aluminum wheels.
