The Mercedes G-Class facelift is back in a new photo gallery showing off the minor styling changes the iconic off-roader has gone through. The new model year brings a decrease in fuel consumption of 17% while the G 500 – available from €105,035 – uses a new engine in the form of a V8 4.0-liter turbo that churns 422 PS and 610 Nm of torque which is enough muscle for a 0-100 km/h run in 5.9 seconds. There’s also a G 350 d model from €89,922 which is powered by a six-cylinder, 3.0-liter turbodiesel rated at 245 PS and 600 Nm that grants a sprint in 8.8 seconds.
The new model year also welcomes the G 500 4×4² priced from €226,100 and equipped with the same engine as the G 500 but this variant will run the sprint in 7.4 seconds as it was developed specifically for the off-road. Those who want more power will be able to get the G 63 AMG from €143,216 with a 5.5-liter V8 pushing out 571 PS and 760 Nm whereas the G 65 AMG priced at €271,915 has a larger 6.0-liter V12 that offers 630 PS and 1,000 Nm of torque.
Lastly, the AMG EDITION 463 special version of the G 63 AMG and G 65 AMG brings some cosmetic tweaks both inside and out but jacks up the price of the former to €159,341 whereas the latter is €282,208.
