2015 Mercedes-Benz S600 leaked, has a 530 HP V12 engine
These are the first two official images with the upcoming 2015 Mercedes-Benz S600 programmed to be unveiled on January 13 at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. The vehicle doesn’t seem to bring any exterior changes except for the obvious S600 and V12 badges, while the back of the car features a quad exhaust arrangement. Chances are the vehicle will be offered only in the long wheelbase variant and will pack a variety of goodies such as a head-up display, Collision Prevention Assist Plus system and the firm’s proprietary Magic Body Control.
Under the hood it will have a V12 6.0-liter twin-turbo engine outputting 530 HP and 830 Nm of torque sent to both axles through a 7G Tronic Plus seven-speed automatic transmission enabling the S600 to hit 62 mph (100 km/h) in 4.6 seconds before topping out at an electronically-capped 155 mph (250 km/h).
