The 2017MY Audi Q7 in U.S. specification will carry a starting price of $54,800, excluding the $950 destination charge. Now in its second generation, the full-size SUV from Ingolstadt will hit stateside dealerships at the beginning of next year and will com e as standard with aluminum roof rails, LED daytime running lights and taillights, along with a power tailgate and a dual exhaust setup. It’s also getting an aluminum exterior trim while on the inside it will have split folding second-row seats, power folding third-row seats, a tri-zone automatic climate control system and a three-spoke steering wheel while a panoramic sunroof is also standard equipment and benefits from a power-operated sunshade.
The sole engine on offer is a 6-cylinder, 3.0-liter TFSI turbocharged gasoline unit that delivers 333 bhp and a peak torque of 325 lb-ft sent to a quattro permanent all-wheel drive system through an 8-speed tiptronic transmission.
Those willing to pay more for a 2017MY Audi Q7 will be able to add numerous optional goodies such as a head-up display, ambient lighting, four-zone climate control, an Alcantara headliner and either a 19-inch Bose 3D Sound System or an impressive 23-seapker Bang & Olufsen 3D Advanced Sound System. There’s also an optional Luxury package which includes ventilated contoured front seats with massaging function along with a Valcona leather upholstery.
