Jaguar prepares XK66 Special Edition for Germany

The Jaguar XK66 is about to be phased out but not before a special edition is launched in Germany. The limited-run is being introduced as a celebration of the 66th anniversary since the XK120 was unveiled at the 1948 London Motor Show. Jaguar plans on making 66 units of this special edition XK based on the Portfolio trim and all of them are going to be equipped with a 5.0-liter V8 engine delivering 380 bhp (283 kW). Customers will be able to order the car either as a coupe or a convertible, while color choices are restricted to Stratus and British Racing Green.
