The Jaguar XK66 is about to be phased out but not before a special edition is launched in Germany. The limited-run is being introduced as a celebration of the 66th anniversary since the XK120 was unveiled at the 1948 London Motor Show. Jaguar plans on making 66 units of this special edition XK based on the Portfolio trim and all of them are going to be equipped with a 5.0-liter V8 engine delivering 380 bhp (283 kW). Customers will be able to order the car either as a coupe or a convertible, while color choices are restricted to Stratus and British Racing Green.
The 2014 Jaguar XK66 Limited Edition rides on 20-inch polished alloy wheels while the convertible can be had with a black or beige fabric roof. Other features include chromed mirror caps, aluminum shift paddles, a tire pressure monitoring system and adaptive headlights. The model also comes as standard with a rear-view camera, “XK66 One of 66” plate, Caramel soft gain leather or Warm Charcoal leather.
Jaguar is asking 99,380 euros for the coupe and 107,580 euros for the convertible. The model will arrive at dealership this May.
