Alfa Romeo introduces Sportiva trim in UK
Alfa Romeo’s UK division has introduced this week the Sportiva trim in the United Kingdom for the MiTo and the Giulietta models. For the first one, the Sportiva is based on the Distinctive trim and brings additional equipment that normally would cost 1,500 pounds OTR if bought separately but with Sportiva clients pay only 750 pounds OTR. The MiTo Sportiva rides on 18-inch Quadrifoglio Verde alloys and comes with darkened headlining, sports kick plates, black steering wheel and handbrake, as well as a black Alcantara sport seat upholstery that has a contrasting green stitching. It is offered with three engines in the form of the small 0.9-liter TwinAir that produces 85 hp, the larger 1.4-liter MultiAir that generates 135 hp and the 1.6 JTDM with 120 hp.
The Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sportiva builds on the Veloce trim and comes with dark titanium 18-inch alloys with bigger red Brembo brake calipers, rear armrest with storage compartment, leather sport seats and sport kick plates. According to the Italian automaker, this Sportiva trim for the Giulietta adds 3,000 pounds OTR worth of goodies for an additional cost of just 1,860 pounds OTR. This model can be fitted with one of the six engines available.
As far as the pricing goes, the MiTo with the aforementioned 0.9-liter starts from 16,100 pounds OTR, followed by the 1.4-liter at 17,000 pounds OTR and the 1.6 JDTM at 17,750 pounds. The prices for the Giulietta Sportiva start from 23,110 pounds OTR and go all the way up to 23,110 pounds OTR for the version with the 1.6-liter JTDM-2 engine with 105 hp.
