Alfa Romeo is introducing a special edition of the MitTo which will be commercialized with the “Junior” moniker as a reference to the 1966 Giulia GT 1300 Junior. On the outside, the vehicle has gained a chrome-plated exhaust tip, sportier rear bumper, white 17-inch alloy wheels as well as satin chrome accents and white mirror caps. On the inside there are fabric-wrapped sport seats featuring white stitching, bespoke instrument panel with white graphics and Junior-branded floor mats. Alfa Romeo also installed an Uconnect infotainment system with a five-inch touchscreen display, along with a dual zone automatic climate control system and a leather-covered steering wheel.
The Alfa Romeo MiTo Junior can be ordered with a base 1.4-liter gasoline engine delivering 78 HP (57 kW) or with a 0.9-liter Turbo TwinAir rated at 105 HP (77 kW). If that’s not enough, opt for the 1.4-liter Turbo Petrol MultiAir which generates 140 HP (103 kW) while on the diesel side there’s a 1.3-liter JTDM packing 85 HP (62 kW).
