All-new Cadillac Escalade unveiled
Cadillac has taken the wraps off the all-new Escalade which is scheduled to reach production phase next spring. From a design point of view, this latest generation benefits from a prominent front grille surrounded on the sides by stylish LED headlights, while the rest of the car has attractive sculpted lines.
Other noticeable features include the chrome trim and 20-inch alloys which can be replaced with 22-inch wheels that will probably be very popular among rappers and football players.
The interior cabin has been completely overhauled and now comes with significantly better materials plus a large 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and ambient lightning. Cadillac has also fitted the 2015 Escalade with a CUE infotainment system, real wood trim, as well as heated and cooled front seats. For more money clients can opt for a rear-seat entertainment system with Bluray and DVD support.
Under the hood is a V8 6.2-liter EcoTec3 engine pumping out 420 bhp (313 kW) and a maximum torque of 623 Nm (460 lb-ft). Power is sent to the front wheels via a 6-speed automatic gearbox which can be optionally mated to an AWD arrangement.
