Motivation of the 2016 ATS-V Sedan and Coupe is provided by a V6 3.6-liter twin-turbo engine outputting 455 bhp (339 kW) and 603 Nm (445 lb-ft) of torque. Output is channeled to the rear wheels via a standard six-speed manual gearbox featuring Active Rev Match or an optional eight-speed transmission that comes with paddle shifters mounted on the steering wheel.

Both cars come with a stiff chassis, a retuned suspension, Brembo brakes and an electronic limited slip differential. Also on the menu is the Magnetic Ride Control system, tower-to-plenum brace, engine compartment V-braces and stronger rear cradle-to-rocker braces.

Sales of the models are programmed to commence in the spring of 2015.
