Bentley teases 2014 Continental Flying Spur

Bentley is preparing the unveiling of the facelifted Continental Flying Spur and to do this they launched yesterday a brief teaser showing what we should expect on February 20 when the car will be fully revealed by the iconic British brand. Don’t expect a lot of aesthetic changes as the new design will be evolutionary rather than revolutionary. There will be slightly revised mirrors, headlights, taillights, lower door handles; updated roofline, a more upright front grille, changed doors and a new look for the front/rear fascias. At the back it will also sport a four tailpipe exhaust system.

We don’t know for sure what’s going around inside that long hood but it’s safe to assume it will have the same engines as the Continental GT. In other words, customers will be able to order the 2014 Bentley Continental Flying Spur with a twin-turbo V8 4.0-liter engine pumping out 500 hp (373 kW), along with a beefier W12 6.0-liter mill unleashing 567 hp (423 kW). This engine will probably be available in a higher output specification, generating an impressive 616 hp (460 kW).

We’ll find out what’s what in approximately two weeks so stay tuned for additional information about the facelifted Flying Spur.
