BMW M235i Track Edition launched in The Netherlands

BMW is introducing an M235i Track Edition in The Netherlands where it will be available in only 12 examples. Those who can’t wait any longer for the fully fledged M2 can settle for the next best thing which comes with the complete M Performance body kit. It includes among others side skirts, new trunk lid spoiler, a prominent splitter and a rear diffuser. The car rides on a set of lightweight 19-inch alloy wheels while on the inside it gets leather-wrapped sports seats, an Alcantara-covered steering wheel (with race display) as well as stainless steel pedals.

The BMW M235i Track Edition doesn’t come with any mechanical upgrades which means it has the same 6-cylinder 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo engine that develops 326 PS and a maximum torque of 450 Nm. Output is channeled to the wheels with help from an 8-speed Steptronic transmission that enables the high-performance coupe to run the 0-100 km/h sprint in 4.8 seconds before topping out at 250 km/h.

There’s no word just yet about its price tag, but rest assure the BMW M235i Track Edition is a tad more expensive than the regular M235i model while still keeping a distance from the upcoming M2 set to debut before the end of this year.
