If you find the 2014 Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG just too docile, take a look at what Brabus has prepared for this year’s Essen Motor Show. It’s 850 6.0 Biturbo based on the wagon version which brings an increase in output from 585 HP and 800 Nm in the E63 AMG S-Model to no less than 850 HP and 1,450 Nm (limited to 1,150 Nm). The significant output hike was possible after increasing the displacement of the V8 bi-turbo engine from 5461cc to 5912cc. In addition, the engineers at Brabus have also mounted larger turbos with bigger compressors, along different exhaust manifolds.
The upgrade kit can be had not only for the rear-wheel drive variant but also for the 4MATIC model. Brabus says the vehicle needs just 3.1 seconds to get from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) and it will keep on accelerating until the electronic limiter will kick in at 186 mph (300 km/h). Opt for high-performance tires and the E63 AMG by Brabus will be able to do 217 mph (350 km/h).
