Dodge introduces 2013 Challenger R/T Redline
One of the car’s Dodge will showcase at the Chicago Auto Show this year will be the 2013 Challenger R/T Redline, which is a follow-up to last year’s Challenger Rallye Redline. The new version comes with the beefy V8 HEMI 5.7-liter engine available with two output versions. The model equipped with the six-speed manual transmission offers 375 hp (280 kW) and 555 Nm (410 lb-ft) of torque, while the variant featuring a five-speed automatic gearbox has 372 hp (277 kW) and 542 Nm (400 lb-ft) of torque. You can order this special edition only when opting for one of the following colors: Bright White, Pitch Black, Billet Silver and Granite Crystal.
As a reminder, the 2013 Dodge Challenger R/T has a starting price of $31,990, whereas the higher-spec Plus model costs $33,990. With the Redline package pricing jumps by an extra $1,995. Standard goodies offered include remote start, automatic headlamps, Bluetooth / iPod / USB connectivity, Mopar T-handle shifter, fog lamps, Uconnect Voice Command and shiny pedals. The more expensive Plus model is offered with rear park assist, power heated mirrors, Nappa leather seating, heated front seats and a Boston Acoustics audio system featuring a 276-watt amplifier.
