Dodge launches frugal Dart Aero, prices start from $19,925

The North American automaker Dodge has announced a more economical version of the Dart model which will be known as the Aero. At the heart of this frugal version is the Fiat-sourced 1.4-liter MultiAir 4-cylinder turbocharged engine that is capable of outputting 160 hp and has a maximum torque of 184 lb-ft.

This variant manages to return 41 mpg US (5.7 liters / 100 km) on the highway when equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission and 40 mpg US (5.9 liters / 100 km) when it has a 6-speed dual clutch dry clutch transmission, aka DDCT. This version of the 2013 Dodge Dart has a starting price of $19,925, without taking into account the $795 destination fee.

For this money you will be getting as standard equipment ten airbags, power locks and windows, electronic stability control, auto headlamps, cruise control, remote keyless entry, power mirrors, projector headlamps, LED tail lamps, leather steering wheel fitted with audio controls, as well as air conditioning with micron filter.
