xXx Performance has introduced an aftermarket program tailored to the Ferrari 488 GTB. They focused primarily on the new V8 3.9-liter twin turbocharged engine which has received three power kits to bump output from the stock 670 PS (493 kW) and 760 Nm (560 lb-ft). The first one increases these figures to 750 PS (552 kW) and 830 Nm (613 lb-ft). If that’s not enough, a stage 2 program take the power to 850 PS (625 kW) and 930 Nm (687 lb-ft). As for the stage 3 kit, this one will increase output to more than 1,000 PS (736 kW) and a maximum torque of 1,250 Nm (923 lb-ft).
xXx Performance was able to squeeze so much power from the Ferrari 488 GTB by remapping the engine’s ECU and installing a custom sports exhaust system. They also made some visual tweaks as the vehicle now has some carbon fiber bits and pieces such as the side skirts, mirrors, front spoiler, rear diffuser and the vents sitting next to the taillights. There’s also a 21-inch set of Vossen VPS-315T wheels wrapped in 245/30 ZR21 front and 325/35 ZR21 rear tires. The new shoes are matched with a 35 mm lowered ride height, while an optional hydraulic lift system is available at an additional cost.
