Ferrari FXX K unleashed with 1,050 HP

The Ferrari FXX K has made its online debut and will be shown in public in Abu Dhabi during the Finali Mondiali event. Based on the road-going LaFerrari, the track-only machine is powered by a V12 engine developing 860 HP (633 kW) and works together with an electric motor providing an additional 190 HP (140 kW). The hardware setup grants the vehicle with a combined output of 1,050 HP (772 kW) and more than 900 Nm (664 lb-ft) and according to Ferrari the FXX K is “completely uncompromising, incorporating technological innovations.”

The Ferrari FXX K will be available to a high-end exclusive group of clients as part of a test program which will be initiated within the next two years. The conventional 6.2-liter V12 engine has received a modified valve train with mechanical tappets replacing the hydraulic ones installed in the regular LaFerrari. Other tweaks include different camshafts, redesigned intake manifold with special polish while the exhaust system has also been altered and doesn’t come with silencers anymore.


The more aerodynamic body allows the car to generate 50 percent more downforce when the FXX K is in low drag configuration while in the more aggressive downforce setup it boost and extra 30 percent of downforce compared to the LaFerrari.
