As if there weren’t enough special / limited editions of the Fiat 500 for the United Kingdom market, the Italian carmaker has decided to roll out yet another one for those interested in buying the cute city car. This new one is known as the 500 Street and is distinguished on the outside by the alloy wheels which have red surrounds for the center caps. Also on the exterior we notice the satin chrome finished mouldings, door mirrors and handles, along with a dark tint for the windows to make it look more elegant and lavish than the standard Fiat 500. We should mention that it is available exclusively for the hatchback so those interested in the convertible variant should have a look at the other versions of the car.
Customers have the possibility of getting the Fiat 500 Street with one of the following three engines: a 0.9-liter and 1.2-liter MultiAir gasoline units, as well as the bigger 1.3-liter MultiJet 2 diesel. For the outside it can wear one of these colors: Matt Black, Bossanova White, Crossover Black, Pasodoble Red and Electroclash Grey.
As we mentioned earlier, it is available only for the UK market, with prices starting from 11,360 pounds for the one with the 1.2-liter engine, followed by the 0.9-liter TwinAir-equipped model at 12,760 pounds and the 1.3-liter diesel at 13,760 pounds. All these price tags are on-the-road (OTR). Fiat says that the Street edition of the 500 costs 1,400 pounds more than the 500 Pop but it offers 1,800 pounds worth of additional equipment, like sports seats, air conditioning, Blue&Me infotainment system, 16-inch alloy wheels, rear spoiler and a leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio controls.
