FPV has teased the GT F sedan which will serve as the swan song since Ford Performance Vehicles will be axed in the years to come. The vehicle will be priced at 77,990 AUD and is slated to go on sale next month with a 5.0-liter V8 supercharged engine generating 477 PS at 6,000 rpm so it will be the most powerful Falcon GT in existence. The added oomph was obtained via an updated PCM – Powertrain Control Module that hasn’t had any effect on the torque level which has remained at 570 Nm.
The vehicle will benefit from a GT RSPEC-derived recalibrated suspension and will ride on Dunlop Sports Maxx tires. Stopping power will be provided by Brembo brakes with six-piston front and four-piston rear calipers. The 2014 FPV GT F sedan will be visually distinguished by a so-called stealth design package that will be applied onto all five exterior body schemes: white, orange, blue, dark grey and black.
